Luxury Western Horse Ranch
This ongoing project is an integrator's dream. The client is constantly expanding the luxury accomodations at this working horse farm. There is some real cowboy work going on outside while a large assortment of accomodations are available on the inside with multiple guest suites, media rooms, two live concert venues, offices and stand alone houses. Because the property is so expansive we have made use of long range wireless access points to provide high speed internet in all areas. The client can adjust the lights and climate control with his smart phone remotely so the accomodations are ready to enjoy as soon as he arrives. The interiors are decorated in a western style and we have been able to integrate video and music everywhere to enhance the client's experience after a long day on horseback. -
Automated Modern Home
This was a new construction project. Integrated Media participated in the design process assisting the client and builder to fully integrate this home. The finished system includes a dedicated theater, distributed audio, intercom, security control, HVAC control, multiple TV locations, surveillance cameras. The system we installed controls every light in the home, all audio and video systems, security, surveillance cameras and climate control systems. The client can control anything in the house with touch screens and keypads installed throughout the house. When they are away they have the same amount of control and monitoring information through an iPhone/iPad interface from anywhere in the world. In a house this large strategic control of the lighting and climate systems can dramatically lower energy usage. -
Downtown Condominium
This two bedroom condominium has all of the comforts of a large luxury home in the suburbs but it is in the heart of the city. The second bedroom has been converted into a dedicated theater and the lighting, climate and audio systems are controlled with the client's iPhone or iPad. There is plenty to do in this small, well designed space and the view is amazing. -
Hotels And Restaurants
We had done a few projects out of our region before but never attempted something in New York City until a couple of years ago. An opportunity came along to install an automated media system for the public areas of the Renaissance Hotel 57 in Midtown Manhattan. It was really great to put our mark on a small piece of the city. Working in Manhattan is a totally different game and presents a number of logistical challenges. We were then asked to put a system in at the RLounge which is situated in the middle of Times Square. We are very proud of both of these jobs and will add more photos and detailed descriptions of the systems soon. -
Distributed Video System
Integrated Media teamed up with another Richmond firm, Livewire, to install this cutting edge distributed video and control system. This client and his family are extremely tech savvy and knew exactly what they wanted... distributed 1080p video. When construction began on the house there was no such thing on the market. As the walls were being painted Crestron finally came to market with their Digital Media system. We installed one of the first on the east coast. There is a central equipment rack that holds all of the equipment. Each family member has their own DVR and can access his/her recorded movies and shows from any of the 11 TV locations throughout the property. Livewire even installed a waterproof LCD on the back patio by the pool. We provided the design, video distribution, programming and remote control for the system. HD video is sent to each display location with 2 fiber optic cables. This is an awesome system and it was great to be one of the first to install this kind of new technology. -
Dedicated Theater
This space was originally a racquet ball court and with a little reworking turned into one of our favorite theaters. This client kept the control system simple and spent most of his budget on quality components. We were brought in by Livewire to provide the Runco projector, Triad speakers and professional calibration. It is amazing how much space is required to install a large theater. There are a number of factors that go into a pro theater design and everything effects everything else. If you are thinking of getting a dedicated theater call us early in the planning process. You will be glad you did. -
Modern Blue Ridge Mountain Estate
This modern home at the foot of the Blue Ridge mountains had a challenging room to install a cinemascope projection system in. We were able to work with the client to create two rooms in one. We installed a motorized 2.35:1 projection screen that retracts into the ceiling when not in use. We installed the RUNCO 3 Chip DLP projector in the back of the room to keep the vaulted ceiling are clear of equipment. The projector throw is nearly 30 feet. The client can view all content on either the 42" LCD TV on the left or lower the projection screen and blackout shades for a true movie experience. -
Atlanta Interactive Firm
THINK Interactive contracted IMedia to install an integrated media system to connect multiple video and audio sources to all of their conference and meeting areas. We installed simple displays in each area and tied them all together with a Crestron Quick Media system. -
